I have spent yearsssss and countless hours researching, having discussions, attending workshops/seminars, printing materials..... compiling this binder to help navigate us through the college process. About two weeks ago I came across the book, College UnMazed. After about an hour of researching its contents, I ordered a copy. This book contains all the information that I have in this BIG, HEAVY BINDER and MORE......MUCH, MUCH MORE! It’s very detailed and packed with a ton of valuable resources. I have gained a deeper understanding about the high school to college process, scholarships, academic success factors and more. My only regret with this book is not knowing about it 5 years ago.
This whole high school to college process is very overwhelming and it would be in your best interest to get started early. Don’t leave your child’s future in someone else’s hands. If you have kids (in the 8th grade or higher) that are planning on going to college, you WANT this book! I see those awesome grades you post, however there are lots of kids across the United States that are making those same grades. The college admission process is increasingly competitive and this book discusses ways to set yourself apart from other applicants. If you are in doubt about the value of this book, I will allow you ten minutes to scan (not hold or borrow) through mine. This is an investment that you will not regret.

Dear Dr. Sterk,
Just wanted to up date you on Dylan. You were so helpful in getting it all together for applications. He has been accepted to the Honors College at both USF and UCF. USF offered $16,000 (Directors Award) and UCF offered $14,000 (Pegasus Gold). On top of that, he just placed 2nd in the Palm Beach Regional Science & Engineering Fair (Senior Division in Earth & Environmental Science). Also Honorable Mention for Pollution Prevention Coalition Award.
Update: Add Dunkin' Donuts Florida Scholarship Program $1000 one time !!!! Also several small Liberal Arts University/Colleges offered full tuition.

Amanda has played a major role in guiding my eldest daughter through the difficult process of registering for college courses through dual-enrollment, and has also been very influential in guiding our daughter with the different Florida colleges and the many scholarships that are offered. I can honestly say that Amanda has played a very large part in both our daughters’ lives this past year. We were very fortunate to find her. She has helped make our move here to the Cape a success and we could have never done this without her!
